If it's true then it opens the door for all (or at least any) of the alts to be right and Egyptology to be wholly and utterly wrong.

It shows Egyptology has parsed not only a language which can't be parsed but a point in time that is irrelevant to the actual culture they believe they see. They have wholly and completely misapprehended a culture and described one that never existed at all and would have become extinct long before it could have built a pyramid.
