I think you have a feasible test now: Get access into Unas burial chamber and photograph the roof marks or, even better, contact Franck Monnier for the photos. I don't know if Maspero published a plate with them, but I'll be in Cairo in a couple of months and can check. There are marks in G-IIIb as well, these on a slab.
If the numerals there are sideways relative to the phyle marks you have at least one comparable example from the same era.
