The Official GrahamHancock.com forums
For serious discussion of the controversies, approaches and enigmas surrounding the origins and development of the human species and of human civilization. (NB: for more ‘out there’ posts we point you in the direction of the ‘Paranormal & Supernatural’ Message Board).
Audrey, I see that you cut my post at a convenient point for you, so I will go one better and not quote you at all.
I’m not going to insult you as you apparently feel the need to do with me once again. However, I will say that I find it quite extraordinary that you forget whose site you are writing on. There have been many mavericks, with unorthodox viewpoints, who have had sufficient conviction to put themselves in the fire of academia and finally been proven right – or not. As far as I can tell, Graham Hancock does not suffer from inflated ego, and neither do I. Write that kind of nonsense about pride if you wish, but surely not here.
You compare me with Cladking. I have only one problem with that, the difference between him and me. Cladking has yet to publish a full, referenced, and justified translation of the Egyptian text. Then to submit it to academics for review. Perhaps he will. I don’t know enough about Egyptian hieroglyphs to take him to task on that subject, in the same way that you know nothing about the earliest Sumerian symbols. I only take him to task when I feel him to have attacked me personally to promote his ancient language theory.
I understand that I have infuriated you. Mavericks have a tendency to do that to people. Please leave me alone and continue with your Gilgamesh theories in the company of Thanos. You know my opinion on that now, and that’s all that matters to me. This is just a blog after all and I don’t need your approbation.
