"Dishonest". You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

You call me 'pedantic' for correcting another poster's calculation, but you don't consider that poster to be at least as pedantic for introducing the calculation in the first place. And yet I'm the dishonest one.

For whatever reason, when you take the gloves off it gets ugly, real fast, and I think that's partly because you're one of the smarter alphas here but you can't tolerate disagreement. For one thing, I wouldn't be driven to call someone "dead" or "dishonest" or an "idiot" as an equivalency to them calling me a "sycophant" (flattery for gain). Of course T'bird lost it in that post, but it seems like you just keep going on and on.

I don't understand why the alpha can't let the peanut gallery be. We all know the specs - giants, a few ethnic issues, "spectral" imagination and verbal acumen (which I mean as a very strong compliment, by the way, T'bird), non-threatening venting.

Why don't you use your skills of erudition to debate instead of your glands?

And I didn't particularly appreciate your quips directed at me, either.
