I'm assuming that the "story" is the Gilgamesh Epic.
One league = 3 statute miles
10 000 leagues = 30 000 statute miles
Therefore, the forest consisted of an area of 30,000 x 30,000 square miles = 900,000,000 square miles.
I am not aware of a forest of this size anywhere on Earth let alone between Mt Hermon and Mt Lebanon.
