hey dave,

this phenomena in base 10:
100 / 99 = 1.01 01 01 01 01 ...
(100/99)2 = 1.02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16...
i'm beginning to warm up to the calculator that comes with the computer
(can't get the expensive one to go beyond 10 significant decimal places)

...still lookin...

.... 145 / 144 ~= 1.00 69 4444 >>>...
..... 161 / 160 = 1.00 625
.... 165 / 164 ~= 1.00 60975 60975 60975 >>>...
64 / 63.617... ~= 1.00 6016 43... ***
.... 171 / 170 ~= 1.00 588 235 294 117 6470, 588 235 >>>...

...gettin closer...

.... 170 / 171 ~= 0.99 415 204 678 362 573, 099 415 >>>...
63.617... / 64 ~= 0.99 4019 5506... ***
.... 164 / 165 ~= 0.99 39 39 39 >>>...
.... 160 / 161 ~= 0.99 37 888 198 7577 6397 5155 2795 0310 56...
.... 144 / 145 ~= 0.99 310 344 827 586 ...

...fun all day...

i wonder if you can prove
...a lack of existence of pi...
or a lack of understanding of pi,
it can be more easily established
that the AEs could not possibly have
designed these geometric masterpieces,
as they could not have even understood them,
as even we do not fully understand them today
- if giza is like a symphony, cydonia is mozart on acid:
and there are art critics out there, with straight faces,
saying it doesn't have a good beat, you can't dance to it
- then, very grimly, "nothing to see here, move along..."

...so, the best dealio thingy in college algebra,
besides making sure we all already know this
(after showing us how to factor, of course), is:
this cool wonder of nature: x2 - 1 = (x+1)(x-1)
- so many times at giza... something missed...
(and by just enough to be casually dismissed)
but by how much wound up being significant:
the errors were staggering the target value...
i believe hinting at a hidden squared value...
and anticipate (relatively) infinite connections,
that i hope to explore, soon as i find the time
(which is auto-ironic if there's a time portal)

the first thing they show us in trigonometry
...is the unit circle - and degrees vs radians...
but soon as they touch on sacred geometry
it's all "nothing to see here, move along"
(hmm, interesting, √2, √3, √5... ah, well)

the first thing they show us in calculus...
is that a slope represents rate of change...
and that: how area relates to circumference
is the exact same relationship between
accelleration, velocity and position
- derivatives and integrals:
not just for insurance...

the singlemost prevalent formula in physics, so far...
(with obligatory scant acknowledgement to each other)
is... the inverse square law, or 1/r2, or r^(-1/2)...
which describes energy projecting outwards:
that is, the falloff of influence at a distance
be it gravity, or light, or sound, anything...
one imagines especially math comprehension,
especially with a focus on mere calculation:
experience building number crunching skills
...as opposed to the "really seeing it" skills
(guess we have to put it together ourselves...
and much will be made of where we're wrong)
or we could just become academics for a living

but... the first thing they show us in group theory...
the faces of a triangle possess a simple symmetry
- imagine a 6x6 table with all the flips and rotations
showing all the possible combinations, and repeats
...an elementary eureka quilted pattern emerges
that nature is more familiar with than we are
...such is pi, and e, and phi, and i, etc....

the coolest thing they show us in discrete math
is that ...figuring probabilities ...involves factorials:
which we've seen before, but now we get to use them
3! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6
4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24
5! = 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 120
6! = 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 720
7! = 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 5040
8! = 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 40,320
which go up faster than exponents even
but in this case mostly cancel out
...so you end up with just a few
in the numerator and denominator
...this is essential in calculating the odds
that some allegedly dismissable coincidence
is so statistically improbable that
it can't possibly be an accident
maybe we can start with rectangles in nature
100% of them turning out to be artificial
as a reliable fingerprint of intelligence
- oh, wouldn't ...that be the day...
(guess we'll just have to dream)
