OKay...make it easy...

Problem 47 is a table with fractional equalities which represent the ten situations where the physical volume quantity of "100 quadruple heqats" is divided by each of the multiples of ten, from ten through one hundred. The quotients are expressed in terms of Horus eye fractions, sometimes also using a much smaller unit of volume known as a "quadruple ro". The quadruple heqat and the quadruple ro are units of volume derived from the simpler heqat and ro, such that these four units of volume satisfy the following relationships: 1 quadruple heqat = 4 heqat = 1280 ro = 320 quadruple ro.

Okay, so the Eye of Horus has transformed from linear measure to volume measure, and you were certainly aware of this the whole time, weren't you...as you state that...

They are all in the Middle Kingdom...all Middle Kingdom creations...all expressions of concepts that make it easy for appropriate persons to keep accounts of stores, stock, trade and taxes where exacting amounts are not too necessary...such as eighths and ninths estimating a transition between circle and square. As I said, I'm looking at Khufu's pyramid, built several hundred years before the Middle Kingdom, and who knows how old its plan actually is. If someone several hundred years after that - and to the best of their ability in making things simple so-as not to divulge too many secret things from the temples and their keepers - write up papyri for the scribes and the students who are being trained into the higher positions of government and localized authorities so that the country is run well and fraud is minimized, then someone who rally wants to show that 'this method hides a tithe for myself without you knowing about it' might be uncovered somewhere down the track...and someone like Ahkenaten might topple the temples and return the whole to the people, not the priests whom spread the myths of perfect math about.

So...indulge me with your missing 1/64 and what it means and its secret that you aren't sharing with anyone and letting folk focus on things that don't include that...which may very well tidy things up a bit when I can't swallow that 1 + 1 = 5 and a 1/2.

So, of course I'll believe that if I can make a calculation that they had the same ability...they were much smarter than I am...they could do so much more than I can. I just copy what I see. I have just a few ideas how they did it, too. And I do so like the real basic one: a rectangle of side 1 unit by side 1 unit has a diagonal of square root 2; a rectangle of side 1 unit with side 2 units has a diagonal of square root 5...etc etc. Phi isn't far away...breaking a circle down to parts and enlarging the circle to the horizon identifies pi...and tracking the sun to the limits of the tropics identifies the equator and a simple calculation tells how large the planet is, then tells how far away the sun is, and why the moon can cover the sun in some solar eclipses but not others.

But you would need to ingratiate yourself with a High Priest in Ancient Egypt to learn such things, as such knowledge only leads the general populace to question not just authority but also God, and breaks down a system of the haves and have-nots. Being from another country helps...it means you have no intention to overthrow the ruling class. But mass migration to something that makes sense might ensue...

Well, that was fun. I wonder if anyone can help me with the quandary of why 0.1415925 is 7.0625 parts of 1, and 0.0625 is a sixteenth part of 1, and 0.1415925 is a 113th part of 7.0625, and why a good estimation of pi is 355/113. It is certainly a puzzle that is not what it seems.

ps: I am sure I mentioned previously about why 628 is important, didn't I? And why it makes more sense when it becomes 500 + 128, didn't I? And nice..."1 quadruple heqat = 4 heqat = 1280 ro = 320 quadruple ro"...1280 = 4 heqat = a multiple of 10 and 128. And all that from a dream, no less. I don't do too bad while I am asleep...I better stay awake as I might be too dangerous with my Eye closed...get it? Eye Closed lol...all 64 parts locked up tight. Oh, my ribs are hurting...
