You're funny. Still trying to work out how I'm supposed to put my calculator and computer away when I'm dreaming about the solution as a potter's wheel and the potter investigating what he's looking at when he is estimating numbers. As I said..."I remembered most of it this morning and tried to play with it. I got so far and then got stuck."

What I wrote wasn't too bad, I reckon. And as I said about "3.1415925…1 / .1415925 = 7.0625…1/.0625 = 16"

As I said..."...I got stuck because my head got fried in trying to express such things as 'a seventh of 1 plus a sixteenth of 1' relating to what 0.1415925 is. If I can grasp that, I'll be able to fix up where the 500 and 128 were heading to."

As you said, and which I realized by using a calculator..." Just for the record adding 1/16 to 1/7 equals 1/7 + 1/16 = 23/112...23/112 + 3 = 3 + 1/7 + 1/16 = 3.205357142857... "

Yes...how did you actually miss what I actually wrote? I'll repeat it again...

3.1415925
1 / .1415925 = 7.0625
1/.0625 = 16

a seventh of 1 plus a sixteenth of 1 relating to ... 0.1415925

Yes, a seventh plus a sixteenth does equal 23/112 and does equal 0.20535 etc. So why does 1 divided by 0.1415925 = 7.0625, and 1 divided by 0.625 = 16. Yes...I got a bit fried trying to work out where the dream was going where this actually got worked out in it where this does make sense.

It can't be a seventh to the power of a sixteenth as that is just silly...maybe a seventh to the power of a one hundred and thirteenth maybe,as that is what 7.0625 is as sixteenths, isn't it? 113 of them?

So...0.1415925 as a 113th part of 7.0625...and 0.1415925 as a seventh and sixteenth part of 1...and I'm fried again lol

Hmm...355/113 = 3 6/113 or 3.1415929...doesn't equal 3.1415925 does it?

628/200 = 1/628 = 3.14159235
Pi = 3.14159265
355 / 113 is closer, but so is the play with the 3.1415925 and the 7 and the 16 and the 113 over all. MAybe it goes nowhere...such is the substance of a dream hey.

Just for the fun of it, you keep mentioning the Eye of Horus and its 63/64 fraction units it contains. Why don't you ever mention the ro as being the remaining missing part, where a ro equals 1/320, and 5ro equal the missing 64th part? Why don't you ever play with 320 when that, by all means, is important...even more important than every other fractional part of the Eye as they are all seen and the ro is not?

Why is the ro missing?

Why does the ro not account in your math?

Why is it hidden?

Why is it secret?

Why does no-one include it in anything?

Do you know what its glyph looks like?

Is it mentioned in the math papyri that exist?

What part does it play in Egyptian math when it is such a fundamental part to making the Eye whole?

5 ro = 1/64...the teardrop...is the tear a symbol for its missing part?

IT IS MISSING Jacob. Care to find it? Where would one look for it? The existing papyri? If it is not there to be accounted for, then what else is missing that is not in the papyri?

Well, that took a bit out of me actually. I'll try and work out the thing with the sevenths and sixteenths and 113ths...I was pretty sure in the dream that it all went somewhere and made sense...especially with breaking 628 down to 500 and 128 and those number associations...I'll be back one day if I work it out otherwise, I'll check back to see if anyone has anything to add about this or ro.

Cheers

i'm going for a short walk on a long pier. back in a second
