I intended to leave this thread (will anyway going on hols down the coast) but you are worth a reply.

You darn well it is repeat of the endless in-evidenced challenge by some that Khufu did not build G1, didn't happen 3rd M BC, the AE words are not important, because some "aliens" or "different species" built it an indescribable time long long ago, despite all the aggregate evidence that says so.
What the diary actually says is the
> only argument you need. Akhet Khufu is a way
> station to and fro between Tura, Ro-She Khufu, She
> Khufu, ect.
I suggest you read the document again. The pool of Khufu Ro-she or she is between Tura and Akhet Khufu.
Akhet Khufu is the destination .
It does not say one word about
> unloading stone or construction of anything at
> Akhet Khufu.
No one ships stone to a destination and does not unload it, before heading back for another load.***
Why would anyone ship special deep underground mined (most of it) stone if there was not a major construction project?
The only line of ambiguity is the
> one open ended comment: Section B II:"Day 3:
> Inspector Merer casts off from Tura North, sails
> towards Akhet-Khufu loaded with stone".
Read the document again there is constant hauling and shipping of stone from Tura to Akhet Khufu right throughout the document.

Again Ro-She is obviously between Tura and A K. There is no other more northerly destination nominated except a special mention for a week or so specifically identified as carrying out work on the dyke at Ro she which is obviously somewhere in between before the main destination most often mentioned .

Again not necessarily all about dyke building. True it does not say specifics about G1 construction.
What else was being constructed at Giza at that time? What required considerable amount of difficult to extract deep underground high quality limestone?
Where is all this special stone what has been identified as having such used. A Tura limestone dyke where, and why build a dyke if it did not serve a greater purpose?
Sorry wrong country not familiar with distances and towns ;-)
