Hi Dave and Jacob
I think I have this right Jacob will confirm.
Jacob 'Quote "By what process did Professor Thom confirm the builders of Stonehenge Aubrey circle were cognizant of and employed pi."
My reply "Thom may not have given a seconds thought to that question.'
If I understand this Jacob is asking weather the ancients re Stonehenge even considered the existance (cognizant) of pi and Thom on the other hand was considering the value used.
Hope I haven't confused anyone but I am pretty sure Thom believed the ancients employed pi but the value to him was a question?
It is of interest that Thom's stats which David gives has Avebury and Brodgar the same value because Burl gives the Rollrights and Stenness the same value 104 feet. Burl calls Brodgar the 'sun and Stenness 'the moon';
