This is exactly how much different ancients thought than Egyptologists.
Thought was exclusionary from our perspective. That which wasn't excluded was intended.
Add in the fact their thinking was three dimensional and it's very difficult for us to "think like an Egyptian". We will need to model it to understand it but Egyptologists are still trying to get meaning from it by parsing it like modern language.
It's no wonder they think they were superstitious and their writing was magical.
