Hi Jim,
Speaking of curve balls and likewise AE Cubits, I have mentioned in the past what I believe to be a reasonable range of values for the AE RC, starting with the Fundamental unit of 12/7 Imp.Ft. ratio, or 144/7 ins. if you prefer, and then a maximum value of precisely .525 Old Meter, which equals 20.671875 ins. It was John Michell's assertion that the ratio of the Imperial Ft. to the AE Ft. was 49/48, and that is correct as far as the minimum AE cubit is concerned as 12 x 48/49 = 11.75510204 ins. x 7/4 to convert to RC units = 144/7 in. unit. However, the maximum ratio of the Imp. Ft. to the AE Ft., I have maintained in the past is the ratio 64/63, otherwise known as the Eye of Horus fraction., which comes to 11.8125 in. AE Ft. x 7/4 = the aforesaid .525 OM value. So as long as I am discussing the merits of the Canonical value 1225, I will demonstrate how the fraction 1.225 x the OM value 39.375 ins. = 48.234375 ins. / 48 = 1.004882813 x 144/7 = 20.671875 in. max AE. cubit value.
Quite frankly, I have pondered the ratio difference between these two AE RC units for too long now without knowing how to resolve the ratio difference between them as it isn't a whole integer value, but the fraction 1/204.8th. part difference. And I have also mentioned in the past, how this min/max range demonstrates the reverse intermediate ranges of ratios 441/440 and 385/384 to obtain the more familiar units we sometimes use in calculations of those big old rock pile at Giza of 20 34/55 ins. and 20 5/8ths. varieties.
