Skillfully hedged..
However a "may" a "likely" and a "proposal" isn't evidence.. It's exactly what it is.. Just a maybe, likely or a proposal. A matter of opinion.
The only fact is that today nobody knows how or why these structures were built, hence the extensive hedging by writers such as Lehner and Von Daniken.. Both equally credible/incredible and both supported by zero in the way of hard evidence.
Furthermore which is exactly why substantial resources both financial and technological have been devoted to the recent and ongoing Scan Pyramids Project.
