Guten Morgen Herr Cladking,
Please tell me you are joking about the word "ramp" being unattested from the Pyramid Age? In all honesty, this is first time I have ever heard a fringe believer raise this (entirely unfounded) objection. And trust me, I have heard so pretty far out fringe claims in my time.
The word you are seeking is "tA-rd" and it can be found in the Pyramid Texts.
And you are sadly mistaken about the ramps being simple walkways. Centuries upon centuries of weathering would have reduced the structural integrity of any neglected edifice buried in the desert sand. Egyptologists are quite aware of what a walkway looked like and was used for. They were simple paved surfaces of limestone or plastered mud. The valley causeway of the Great Pyramid is perhaps the most elaborate example of an Old Kingdom royal walkway.
Good to see the discussion is picking up. I look forward to continuing this enlightening conversation with you all.
Cheers,
