This is not true. A simple survey of the interiors of OK pyramids would clear this up. Though Djoser's stepped pyramid at Saqqara has interior funerary art/writing, no other pyramid has any until the Pyramid of Unas some 300yrs later. Once again, G1 does not exist in a vacuum. The exception to this rule would the descending passage chamber in G3 which has a palace facade motif:
As I have argued elsewhere this is due to being part of a later expansion to G3 from a tower core to a pyramid, but that is another story. Regardless, this artwork you are looking for associated with pyramids is found in their mortuary temples. The BP, Khufu, and from Userkaf on with Sahure's for example being particualrly spectacular-one of the wonders of the ancient world. You will note missing from this group are the mortuary temples of G2 and G3, which worth including are the G2 Valley Temple and Sphinx Temple, which are uncharacteristically large blocked megalithic constructions compared to others. This, among other reasons, implies to me the possibility these temples predate the 4th Dynasty.
