"I'm never going to win an argument with you guys because I have so little Egyptology knowledge except what I've picked up here and there. I stay within the lane of my fascination with the implications of the stone work, and the inferences I can draw from that. After 4 years, I remain unconvinced I share that fascination with many of you, so I don't expect much contribution in most of the posts I engage in, and that's ok with me.
But the absence of my knowledge of Egyptology makes me appear like a wounded animal on the Savanna to you guys. Its like an ego based predatory instinct, (and maybe this site is your only outlet for that stuff), which is fine, but its an intellectual dead end for me at that point. So when you surround me baring your teeth, my self defense becomes your proof that I'm all about winning the argument, right? Be real. How about we share the accountability on that 'argument winning' front for a start."
Fair enough. But here is the rub.
I don't remember saying your calculations were wrong.
I do remember asking questions.
As you own that they are based on a broad understanding of the topic, why not simply try to answer them to see where my questioning leads???
