Of course it is.
When was the last time an alternative theory was considered by Peers? When was the last time that a different dating paradigm was considered for ancient Egypt? When was the last time a Peer complained about not having access to data? When was the last time a different usage or means of building pyramids was considered by Peers? When was any of this subjected to systematic study?
What major change has come about in Egyptological beliefs since the 1820'S? There have been none and when data contradict Egyptology the data is hammered into a better fit.
Researchers don't dare contradict or study something outside of the paradigm because they will get no funding and lose their status.

This is very rarely true. Just as some will mine my words looking for things to contradict instead of reading them and trying to understand, we each see things in terms of our models and beliefs. It usually takes both training AND a scientific mindset to question our beliefs AT ALL. But we each see the huge flaws in opposing arguments.
