In case you don't already know, Piazzi Smyth measured the length of these enigmatic (to us) slots, their depths and the spaces between them, and published the results - along with some descriptions - in his book 'Life and Work at the Great Pyramid. Vol 2. Pages 78 to 84. 1867).
