The statement is exactly accurate but it should be noted that one can change what one is thinking about only by changing one's beliefs. If you change your beliefs the change in your thinking will automatically follow.
Apparently he was aware of this in some form and used it to grow rich.
The wise men have always said the purpose of life is to have fun and leave the world a better place. This is accomplished in multitude of ways from "knowing thyself" to "we become what we think". Indeed, we do always reap what we sow and our seed must land on fertile soil to grow. He who tends the rocks is a fool.
