I once said that I make everything up and never herd the end of that. All I meant was that all of my thinking is my own.
But no one can just 'invent" or "concoct" my theory from scratch I don't believe. The theory is definitively composed of the actual evidence, known facts, and logic. Of course confirmation bias could be a factor so there's no certainty that I am right except in a left handed sort of way.
The existence of the Mafdet Lynx is a summation of a great deal of evidence some of which goes back as far as the PT. This evidence is gleaned from myriad sources dating into the AD era. The Pyramid Texts merely is key to understanding the nature of Mafdet and the general location. Most of the details come down from later sources and especially the Coffin Texts. Most of the later sources are in modern language and a little more comprehensible if you understand the vocabulary of Ancient Language as I believe I do. Modern language speakers lacked science and their languages lacked any tie to reality but they did not always lack understanding. Some of the CT appears it might have even been written by Ancient Language speakers approximating modern Egyptian.
Frankly there are simply no solid clues to the location of Mafdet in the PT. These "utterances" were merely a formal type of Ancient Language expressing the ritual read to the crowds at the kings' ascension ceremonies. It's not overly surprising that the specific location of Mafdet in a pyramid is not mentioned.
But the existence of Mafdet was relevant to these rituals so it can be deduced that it was a "sphinx" which guarded the way to the water source. It's exact location is suggested by two things (three now).
Firstly;
"Mafdet lives in the House of Life."
Mafdet is under the pyramid but is not subsumed by the pyramid; it is alive. In Ancient Language this means that it is not actually covered by the 'house of Life".
Secondly, the gravimetric scan is what defines the specific location. Naturally if Mafdet lives in the pyramid and is surrounded by high walls there will be a low density and lighter building above it. Of course that this area is built on a very fragile cliff face could be the reason for the light building but...
Thirdly is the thermal imaging which shows the "Cool is the nt-Crown-Path" that connects to the ancient pavement linking directly to the Mafdet. It can only be a corridor in direct communication with a massive heat sink and my theory says this heat sink IS the Mafdet Lynx (mongoose).
Additionally the low density above 70' altitude on the east side as well as a second heat anomaly in the middle of the east side suggests this mongoose sphinx is not laid out on a straight line but curves near the front as a mongoose is prone to sit.
There are multiple entrances to this structure suggested by the ancient literature and the physical evidence. I'm still not ruling out a path from the niche above either. What's needed is data and Egyptology seems to consider all facts proprietary. It feels a little like the dark ages when the proletariat wasn't even allowed access to the Bible lest more become splitters.
I could provide more of the data that suggests the exact nature of what's behind the thermal anomaly but I have personal reasons for not doing so. Chief among these reasons though is that the information will seem highly fragmentary and my deductions to be enormous leaps. Some of this could be used to circumvent the actions of those making the decisions. Suffice to say that at each juncture I merely asked what must be true for the individual who made the statements to use the words that were used. I believe all our ancestors were sane and that Ancient Language speakers were scientists by definition.
There is no such thing as "sun addled bumpkins" until quite modern times.

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
