No. It's irrelevant to the question or whether the Mafdet exists or not.
But if it has any bearing on a Mafdet that does exist my initial impression is that it is significantly larger than I had thought and lies principally under the east side with a 20 degree bend to the east. It is more along a N/ S line than I had projected as well. The gravimetric scan can onbly peer bout 30' into the pyramid and at these shallow depths Mafdet is more under the NE corner. The muon scan strongly suggests that Mafdet has a great deal of presence deeper inside the pyramid under the east side.
This reinforces my working hypothesis (guess) that the head faces north (east).

I'm merely observing facts here.
It was discovered two years ago that there are stones hot enough to cook an egg on the east side and they still have not released the results or done anything at all to investigate this. They haven't even released a proper update in many months. Now just after Hawass releases his big book he's all ticked off at the scientists for releasing results without his OK. These are all facts visible to anyone not wearing blinders.
The FACT is this is all very convenient for anyone who doesn't want to investigate the thermal anomaly and Hawass has proven through his actions and words that he doesn't want this investigated. All facts. Have you checked your own head for tinfoil? ;)

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
