Hello Pete/Lee
If you make it past the 5 min mark of the above video...I'm all about looking for the piggy back - which is made apparent in the above vid.
I sort of come back to the do it yourself model/example as being the best demonstration for others to actually try what they attribute to our ancestors of the dynastic period etc. re: rock work - and with granite in particular. Doesn't work is my hint...
My impression, from reading most/many of the posts of those I view as capable... is that they always fall back on the fact that these constructs are there...meaning that our ancestors did this, and that even though we can't explain the 'how' today, the remains are there so obviously the Pharaoh's figured it out etc..
bs...to the extreme.
We don't know how/who/why - all pure speculation. I side with Chris Dunn and Foerster...Childress and Von Daniken on some things. And why not? We have modern tools like google earth utilized and what is discovered - on lines which are purportedly thousands of years old...some kind of earth/geo-grid? uh huh...'bumpkins' did this. ;) pfft
Fact of the matter is that the tools creating all of this don't exist within the time frame we are told. The buildings are magnificent ...and not explained away by imagining thousands of 'craftsman' who were capable of creating all of these masterpieces. The entire world was bashing away, creating masterpieces which last to the present, in similar fashion and aligned so perfectly. How many more 'anomolies' or coincidences do I have to mention in an attempt to have an informed and honest discussion? Of course our history is vastly more complicated and fascinating than what we have been led to believe. Newearth has dozens of vids which will make any academic squirm...and squirm they should.
The megalithic age is the age of the unknown/forgotten - in my book. I just simply say that we don't know - really don't know.
