This comment was made by Hawass in a TV documentary on the pyramids.
Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact wording.
Did you know that Hawass also once said that hundreds of mummies had been buried inside the Great Pyramid?
I suggest that english language not being Hawass' first language is part of the problem here.
