There are many possibilities as to why the PT says what it does. I can't really rule out the possibility that Mercer did this intentionally and it escaped unnoticed by other translators. It's possible that there is some other unknown hydraulic property that was known to each of the authors and I've only solved it in a left handed sort of way. It's possible that this is some sort of metaphor or that it came from more ancient writing (or oral tradition) that described some unknown process with the same characteristics as the key points of my interpretation. of course it's always possible I'm suffering confirmation bias and it's merely coincidence that it agrees with the physical evidence and makes valid prediction. Maybe there really are an infinite number of pyramids built with an infinite number of ramps and I just happen to live on one of the infinite number of worlds where they were not.
Maybe this is all a nightmare and I'll wake up any day now.
I'm not ruling out anything but I find the consistency of the work with my interpretation very surprising leading me to believe this is what the authors intended. Whether these authors were Atlanteans, aliens, or Egyptians is of little consequence to me. My interest is in how these were built and it's very apparent they were built in stages and then converted to five step pyramids and finally cladded to be pyramid shaped. I believe these were likely completed about 2700 BC. I believe those who completed them spoke Ancient Language which can't be translated into our languages. I believe the Pyramid Texts is just a silly little book of the rituals read t the kings' ascension ceremonies. It is written in Ancient Language which is exactly why we can't translate it. But we can model the rules of the language using Mercer's version in order to understand it. It's actually a very simple language.
