Yes, I say that because I believe the pyramid builders had no beliefs and they even lacked the word "belief".

I don't understand your point here.
Ancient people weren't stinky footed bumpkins but we are. We have beliefs and a word; "belief".
We are "home omnisciencis", ancient people were "homo sapiens".
> You are purely a creature of

> We are all subject to that which we believe,
> except for the hypocrites
No, even the hypocrites act on their beliefs, they merely profess different beliefs.
> You believe that Egyptology knows
> > everything so can't be wrong about anything.
> I don't know anyone who believes that, especially
> the proffessionals
They each and all believe in changeless and stinky footed bumpkins who dragged tombs up ramps. As that the same thing as "knowing". They act as though they know the ancients were superstitious. They write and talk as though they know and they see the world as though they know. Belief in modern people is even stronger than knowledge. (well, except for visceral knowledge)
> You've been told a zillion times that that is not
> a generally accepted premise
Semantics. The people were just like the authors of the book of the dead and believed in gods and magic as they dragged tombs up ramps.
THE MEANING IS THE SAME IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
> You have enough difficulty arguing with yourself.
> I take some Schadenfreude from that ( those paying
> attention to the entire thread will appreciate my

Vas ist los?
I can be insulted all he wants. I don't care.
But the ancient are already spinning in their graves at top speed and might fly apart if they are insulted further. How ironic that Egyptologists take umbrage at the victims of their insults.
