Hi Racho
Dropping in to suggest that you ought take care not to compare apples with bannana's. One may require a special tool to peel comfortably, the other may not.
There is enough in the OP vid Peru & Bolivia part to justify that significantly more advanced or specialised technology or tools or methods were used than chisels (especially bronze age). As you know from watching heaps of vids, found all over the world.
However, Longou caves (I think aptly named) are sandstone. Take your own advice find some fresh quarried sample and chisel it. Different critter altogether than hard igneous sone (granite etc).
The entrance is very rough and natural not like a machine made it. Look again from that perspective? I suggest it is possible they were water worn caves in sandstone which were renovated squared carved extensively by man. If steel was involved then it is realtively easy, say , compared to gold rush miners in the mid 19th century digging mines in wilderness with small picks and shovels in solid granite and quartz to find veins and some of those go for miles. No machines used.
Cheers
