Hi
I have replied already. However this bit gives me a better idea of the intent of your question .
Not just Tallet but all the articles in the bibliography to the quoted article and others (which I have already suggested you search for) you will find peer review journals discussing the subject that also make the statement.
Now the new point is , as a suggestion to perhaps ponder a little, and not necessarily assume it is for the purpose of me creating a petty arguement is:
If you wish to challenge a claimed fact as "Challenger" I suggest it would be much better if you research the subject independently and provide good reason for the challenge.
I (suspect many others) would be delighted if you were able to post something like eg See here Corp this (clearly identified) papyrus is considered to be x yrs older than that and the basis of it's dating is y !
Audrey often does it in her good posts (eg recently she posted something researched re G3 wooden coffin) I may not agree with all of it but it is a basis for "challenge" or discussion
Dune does it ( see a few posts above)
Jon sometimes does it.
Sam never does it, he refers only to his own authority/imaginings
You have sort of done it occasionally ( I am thinking D Stocks book)
Now apparently you are a well educated man?
In your schooling did you ever disagree with a statement from teacher or lecturer or Professor? Surely you must have?
Did you just blurt out "I challenge that!" or "I disagree with that!"?
I reckon the only first response would be ....please explain the basis of your challenge.
If you persist and then it will eventually turn into ignore or ridicule!
Get it?
Cheers
