Setting aside the fact that Dash fully acknowledges the scarcity of evidence that any such method was actually used in the 3rd millennium BC to determine any cardinal point, how do you propose the AE used simple extrapolation of the E-W line to determine North and/or South?
Also, the builders of those pyramids obviously had an affinity for squares, but what evidence is there that suggests the 3rd millennium BC had a specific interest in North or South, or at least knew about them?
