A few come to mind. I assume there are others.
First. thers's that curved plate of granite at Abu Rawash which I believe does show saw marks at the margin of the finished area.
There's also that spectacular drill bore through granite at Karnak. Although that's not a "saw" mark, there also are very thin, tapered grooves cut into long blocks of granite at Karnak that clearly could not have been made by chisels.
And if I recall correctly, there's a smaller drill bore with similar rebates in granite across the river from Karnak.
Also, There is that "sarcophagus" at the Cairo Museum that shows what appears to be a partly "sawed" off slab at one end that's still attached to the main stone box.
These have been posted in past discussions.
Hi Phil,
Remember I support you, and enjoy your post, though I am the devils advocate...
OK, so were those examples made by the AE or did the 12,000 year old people do it?
I can't help myself...it's to entertaining. [www.youtube.com]
I was fortunate to see them live.
