This is the primary problem with using ramps in theory. In the real world the problem is men won't pull and it's just too much work for an ancient economy but even after these problems are hand waved then you have the problem that there is no configuration that would allow enough men to work at one time. Even if you had a million well fed and eager men you couldn't build it with ramps. No "ramps" were used in lifting stones to build great pyramids.

Of course the biggest problems with the assumption they used ramps is evidentiary. The word "ramp" isn't even attested from the great pyramid building era. Saying the word must have existed because the "technology" is so basic is just more hand waving and an implication that these superstitious bumpkins had no other "technology" and access to no other technology more complex than piling up earth to make ramps.

They need to give up the inane idea that the builders must have used ramps because there was no other means. Once you give up this concept then you can clearly see exactly how it was done; stones were pulled straight up the sides of five step pyramids one step at a time. This is far easier, leaves far more room to work, is logical, and (by God) it is evidenced. No hand waving needed once you give up the idea of stinky footed bumpkins.
