ESAB Plasma gantry....Cryogenic Nitrogen.
Hey Steve....Do you know how to operate that?
Program the CNC...
Do Ultrasound inspection on plate and alloy.
Do Metallurgy test and know the chemistry ratios of the steel or alloy and what the
Contract* places as acceptable ratio.
I was an operator of that Plasma table...not one like it...but the one in the picture.
Also operated plate rollers,...shear,brake,drill machines,
Was senior burner doing orbital cut on pressure vessels which were on rolls,..
20 ft + above the shop floor.
Blueprint reading and layout
Was an operator of the remote control 50 ton shop cranes,
Yard crane operator..
Worked with Nuclear X ray for weld inspection.
And was Senior First Aid with a rescue Ticket for my Shift.
I have followed your water lever publish ...
Have no beef with the concept...
It's just that My 2 decades + career experience in oil/nat gas Fabrication gives me
Knowledge and perspective which is exacting and practical.
Some Egyptology stooge with minions did some stone grinding which resulted in mere millimeters reduction in material facing in ...was it 20 Hours!....lol : )
( this forum had 100+ posts with Egyptology defenders racing around hair on fire
Vs the Evil Alts )
Now then....if your water bucket build was powering advanced machining equipment,
I might actually consider your theory as reasonable
So far.......No Sale Steve....nope...not happen'n
As Audrey points out....the Egyptology claims for moving huge tonnage on river boats
Barges does not fly either.....oops...sorry....Float either : )
Egyptology pushes Alot of nonsense engineering claims
Hi T Bird,
I will make an attempt to answer some of your questions. I'm not sure why you are asking me all this, other than it is an attempt to show me how knowable you are?
>Hey Steve....Do you know how to operate that?

Gcode has become the standard machine operating language. I own a VM-2. [www.haas.co.uk]. Do you know how to operate that?
Other than being here on the blog, I am programing in CAD/CAM. That's what I do. As for your machine, if it operates on Gcode, then yes I can run it. I have been a machinist since I was 7 years old. My father was a machinist, and we worked in my Grandfather's Machine shop In Santa Monica, CA.
>Do Metallurgy test and know the chemistry ratios of the steel or alloy and what the...
I worked at VSI making bolts for Aircraft Industry. Hastelloy , Inconel, Titanium, Carbon Steel, ect. Hot heading with induction heating. They all had to be inspected for fractures, and on a optical comparator to pass inspection.
>Blueprint reading and layout.
Yes, as I was also a draftsman, and Yes I used plenty of Dykem® Steel Blue Layout for my layouts. That being said, very few machine shops use blue prints any longer. They have become antiquated. I am also a "tool and die" maker.
Yes, though I could be better at it. I need a wire feed. Acetylene and oxygen is old as well. Have you ever use Hydrogen and Oxygen? It burns very clean. Used it for cutting and polishing glass, have you ever done that?

I own a Hyster 3000lb. capacity fork lift with an extended boom, and have operated a 200 ton punch press. So large, half of it was in a deep concrete pit.
My latest toy, is a brand new 38 ton Komatsu Servo press. I haven't even hooked it up yet. [www.komatsupress.com]

Your a pair of geniuses... How do you think they moved their obelisks down the Nile?
>I might actually consider your theory as reasonable...
I really don't care about your considerations. My illustration are backed up by calculations. Everything, is checked for strength and sized properly. The illustration were and are an interesting way to learn Sketchup. Some of the methods, just come to me. Unlike others, I do not profess "this is how the Pyramids were built". Additionally, these drawing are constantly changing. If I think of some better application, I place in the drawings. They are for entertainment, as no one can prove how the Pyramids were built.
I own a strong utility patent. Can you say the same?
Really T Bird. I would run circles around you. You are not qualified... to question my abilities.
All this kinda reminds me of, when the Beatles played on top of their studio, and John Lennon said: I hope we passed the audition?
Or just maybe....[www.youtube.com]
