Sorry to all for the diversion here.

It's a reference to an old bad movie called "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". In it aliens leave a pod that becomes the person who falls asleep in its presence. These "fake" people point and scream at the non-replicants when they are found out. In light of the fact that paradigm supporters go ballistic with alts and seem to read from the same script I compare them to these pod-folk.

That was a great movie, especially the original, in 1956. That freaked us all out. You have to be fairly old to remember it. At one time they even put electrical buzzers in theater seats, which made some of us, jump out of our seats screaming. Loyola Theater, Westchester CA.

It was also the beginning of the alt belief, that an extraterrestrial life form is responsible for the invasion and/or population of Earth. As I recall, none of the movies up till then, had a theme of re-populations.
