However, the first image you provide illustrates the tendency to horizontal and vertical symmetry, containing titles for the pharaoh. The top panel reads from the centre in both directions (beginning with nsw bity, the bee and the sedge) and ending with the shen ring. The nsw bity and the nbty (cobra and vulture) as royal titularies certainly evolve in honorific inscriptions when compared with the OK inscription from the stepped pyramid at Saqqara.
