For serious discussion of the controversies, approaches and enigmas surrounding the origins and development of the human species and of human civilization. (NB: for more ‘out there’ posts we point you in the direction of the ‘Paranormal & Supernatural’ Message Board).
The two big arguments advanced against the OCT are: 1) Orion (the belt stars anyway) was not a 'big cheese' (the term used at Hall of Maat) so they would not have aligned pyramid accordingly; 2) Pan generational projects were verboten so no succeeding Pharaoh would build based on what another had done ...
That said, the Gizamids could have been built after the Dynastic Period (when Orion was a big cheese, knowledge of precession, PI, PHI, etc. was widespread) or
before the Dynastic Period when a Lost Civilization with such knowledge built them or
the AE simply took the plans and technology from the LC and built the structures as tombs for their kings (even suggesting this alternative a 15 years ago would have provoked derision and accusations of racism, Nazi sympathies, etc)
