No pun intended, but there is a big difference between "robust" and "giant". Some of the skeletons at Malta were identified as robust, as in thicker bones, like Cro-Magnon is to other humans, but no "giants". You keep mentioning Malta over and over again but there are no "giants" and the tales of such are just that like the Cyclopes of the Greeks. If you go to Malta you would see for yourself that despite the fact the stones themselves are quite large of course, the functionality of them is strangely small often miniature by comparison. Including the Hypogeum where these bones were all found which is not made for tall people to say the least. If made by a race of giants it was not made for them to use:
