I fail to see how you can tell whether it has sealed or not given it is still covered with mummified skin. Note the large skin flap hanging off to the side. I have no children, but I do not believe 7-9 month old fetuses have skinless exposed holes on the tops of their heads regardless.
Also, the anterior fontanelle is towards the top skull:
Which is not clear if it is even seen at this angle:
And given the abnormality of the skull what exactly should we expect of the anterior fontanelle?
So, no I do not believe my comment has been contradicted nor that this may not in fact be a late term fetus.
