I've never seen any evidence or documentation that Posnansky found any elongated skulls at all.
From what I've seen, he did uncover some skulls at Tiahuanaco that showed survival after trepanation.
The only source I've ever found claiming that P. found elongated skulls was, ahem, David Hatcher Childress.
Childress would lie to his own mother for fifty cents.
