I don't know what you mean by "specific syntax." If the Japanese team said that they found a cartouche of Khufu, then doubtless that particular cartouche will have contained a sieve/placenta, two quail chicks and a horned viper, "May he [the god Khnum] protect me": all the characters displayed in whatever arrangement suited the scribe.
