There are hundreds of possibilities yet you just want to toss out all the science because it doesn't agree with existing assumptions. Every single test as I remember suggests the pyramid is older than the established time-line so why toss the baby out with the bathwater?
We'd need to know more details and have a lot more knowledge than we do to explain every single discrepancy but the fact is science still dates the pyramid to be older. My interpretation is G1 was completed around 2750 BC but I'm all ears if someone has other ideas. The testing suggests between 2600 and 4000 BC. I'd wager it's within this range. Until data come along to confirm or contradict the science we might as well just go with the science.
There are lots of tests that can be done.

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
