You've got to be kidding, I don't believe I'm reading this.

So you're saying you've never had a glob of paint when you first laid paint brush to wall/fence whatever. because of too much paint on the brush or applying too much pressure at first. Then you have never painted, which is possible and could be why you're grasping at straws

Anyone can see, following Jon's description, how the painter started at the bottom right drew the cartouche counter clockwise with the paint running out as he completed the oblong at the bottom left. We can also see the cartouche does not go behind the side wall, it ends at the joint.

And you need Jon to prove this when it's right in front of your eyes!! It's common sense.
