Dear Corpuscles,
Breaking News
Advocate (P.A. Femano RCT) for the plaintiff in the case of Creighton vs Vyse, drew an audible gasp from the jury earlier today when he admitted that, except for the simple Khufu cartouche in Campbell's Chamber, all other cartouches in the Great Pyramid are genuine.
Defence Counsel, Thanos5150, reminded Femano that, if this is the case, then provenance of the upper sections of the Great Pyramid must lie in Dynasty 4, and quite possibly all of the above ground construction, as well, due to the difficulty of continuance of such an endeavour.
Eyebrows were raised when Femano stated that it is his opinion that the question of translation of the glyphs within the Khufu cartouche constitutes solid evidence for an earlier dating of the pyramid.
What raised a chuckle in the gallery was the fact that, unless Femano can prove that the cartouche format did exist prior to Dynasty 4, then it is totally irrelevant as to the translation. One wag muttered that, "So what if it's translated as Mickey Mouse. A cartouche is a cartouche."
Apparently, Femano still does not grasp this essential point.
Although bolstered by others assisting counsel, the odds of the applicant being victorious in this case are looking slimmer by the minute, in which case I wish to double the bet, unless, Creighton fires his team and takes the stand himself.
