If the Great Pyramid was built by Khufu (and i am not saying it wasn't or was), then the 2500 bc date is also wrong because there is no doubt that Joseph was in the 3rd-4th dynasty, unless the biblical chronology is missing some.
If the Great Pyramid was not built by Khufu, and/or if the 2500 date is right (unlikely since alot of orthodox ascribed dates are found wrong) then it would be roughly the time of Noah (Noh/Num?) or Nimrod (Khnemu/Num?) in biblical chronology, unless the biblical chronology is missing some. Herodotus said Menes was (1)1340 ys before Seti, and Josephus said Menes was 1300 yrs before Shishak, which gives a date of not earlier than 2300 bc (supported bt lots of other evidences given in our Egypt chronology paper).
I am not sure if my Khufu=Jacob theory is right or wrong. It could be wrong because there are a few seeming problems. But it would be good if you could just play to yourselves privately a game for a little while of Khufu = Jacob (and the other 3 possible matches i gave) and have another look at the pyramid, Giza, and the 4th dynasty with these eyes just to see if you see any of the possible matches (not just the few seeming problems) that i see. Is the Grand Gallery a model of Jacob's Ladder? Do Khufu's 4 wives match Jacob's? Is the Sphinx Joseph/Djedefre (linked with Khafre/Ephraim, and with Great Pyramid/Jacob)?? Are all the things around Great Pyramid (and not the other 2 pyrs) Israelites of Jacob? Is the 51/52 linked with jubilee? Whether the 4th dynasty matches are right or wrong, there is no doubt that Joseph was in the 3rd(-4th) dynasty though (Sekhemhet etc).
