Hi Dr Troglodyte,
Osburn may have wished to find correspondences of the Kinglist with the Bible timeline. Garnier in "The Worship of the Dead" does the same. The criticism of the work of Velikovsky centres around a similar paradigm. I have even done it myself.
However, I am not sure that this equates to deliberate deception, as has been imputed to Vyse.
I am surprised that you use Colavito as a source. Does he always give a balanced viewpoint? I feel that he has an agenda.
