Audrey, for whatever reason (maybe Scott?) they keep trying to steer the discussion into claiming that some of us deny the authenticity of all of the khufu "variants" and that we think they all are a forgery committed by Vyse. This way, since a variant cartouche of khufu was found in the boat pit which was only opened after Vyse had his way with Giza, then they believe the entire fraud hypothesis vanishes in smoke.
But what they fail to realize is that some people believe the translation methods may be faulty and that Khnum-khfu is not khufu. In that case, there is only one "Kh-u-f-u" cartouche, and as far as I'm concerned, the other khnum-khfu may be original, may be a lot older than 3rd millennium BC, and the Kh-u-f-u cartouche might have been added later.
The "Vyse in the boat pit" deflection is simply a ploy to turn this debate into something it isn't.
They complain that some of us keep steering the discussion off topic, but as usual, when they claim "liar", "deceiver", "dishonest", etc., they seem to be projecting what they see in the mirror.
Thank goodness for the goldmine of information provided to us on a silver platter by the internet.
