Your citation of Verner only cites an issue with Lehner's take on G1x. Meanwhile, Verner cites several reasons that Reisner's fabrication is not credible.
I've often stated that I don't agree with the conclusions Lehner draws either. But his data reporting is usually spot on, and he did an excellent job revealing the logical flaws in Reisner's fabrication. Lehner wrote,
