"Authorities", huh? Right. The only relevant museum in NYC I am aware of is the MET which I have been to several times so who it is you thought you were talking to that qualified as an "authority" on Egyptian Old Kingdom archeology, if anything, is beyond me. And the last thing I would ever ask an art historian of any level, which would be whatever "authorities" you believed you spoke to at the MET, is anything about pyramid construction and/or proof of pyramids as tombs.

Again, why would I ask questions of them about pyramid construction ramps and evidence of pyramids as tombs, as if they would know, and given I have done the research myself why would I need to? Unless it is about the actual piece displayed, if I want to ask an Egyptologist a question I will read Wilkinson, Emery, Petrie, Weigall, Lehner, Hawass, Romer, ect ect ect and not ask some intern at the MET. Lol.

I was talking about how much money Egyptologist make, not ramps or pyramids as tombs, so yes, let's not "deflect again" into yet another conversation about the same exact things that have been talked about so many times before.
