Hi Drew

Although the Nautical mile is relatively new in its inception at 6076 ft ,and because its Earth commensurate based on the North to South meridian, there is no reason why the ancients could not have come up with a similar figure.

When it comes to exactness on irrational ratios like Pi and the square root ratios im happy to work with their close approximations as it would be impossible to work to those exact figures in the real world of construction.

I prefer to keep to two decimal places on the hard stones of pyramid sides and heights, but will go to three on the odd occasion , as this next diagram shows.

It seems we each have our own specific leaning on this subject, your up there with the stars and planets, and im more into the esoterics of numbers and there symbolic values .

Take the number 5040, Plato thought it was key to harmonizing many social factors in a society, and the layout of a city
via its geometry , therefor introducing other concepts like setting out specific harmonics in music and laying down a set of numbers associated with that 5040 figure that became the canon of number .

Can we find that same 5040 number at Giza via multiplying three specific sides of the pyramids ?

Probably a coincidence but seeing the .528 fraction in that above sum made me smile .
