I accept that, but I asked Martin whether he thought chemical analysis (or also meant various radio dating methods) ought be allowed on the ochre paint.
They allow such analysis on other things , why not some of the graffiti?. Is it, that they have too much to loose?
How would you feel if such analysis was conducted and produced a very recent (say 19th century ;-) result?
