I tried to design a tool that could access through the narrow neck while still having enough variable geometry to achieve a precise cut from the pot center line axis out to the inner face of the wall. I'm still trying.:)
If such a tool were possible, my approach would be to first cut the inside of the pot into a cuboid block.
I'd then use an internal profile following mechanism to control the cut for the outside face of the pot, with a few mm offset to achieve the required fine wall thickness.
The problem is in getting the tool in through the narrow neck.
Looking on the bright side, at least Stocks has demonstrated the impossibility of achieving the required result using nothing but AE technology and materials.
