The Internal, Centrifugal Honing Tool.
He's then attempted to make it more primitive and therefore acceptable to those that believe that an effective internal honing tool can be manufactured from nothing more than a stone and stick.
The still photograph is of the hypothetical stick and stone internal honing tool. The pot is lathe turned, obviously for photo demonstration purposes.
I have tried to find moving image evidence of the stick and stone method, but all I can find are posed still photos and illustrations. I can find no evidence whatsoever of this method in operation.
IMO the stick and stone honing tool stands absolutely no chance whatsoever of working and would be impossible to control in anything but the very crudest attempts to bore a hole into soft stone.
